Research Group
In our research group, we strive to provide a supporting learning environment and close mentorship to a diverse group of postdoctoral, graduate, undergraduate, and K-12 students. Prof. Shafei has advised more than 35 Ph.D. and M.Sc. students and 55 undergraduate researchers to date. His research group currently includes multiple graduate and undergraduate students at various stages of their degree programs. The students receive various opportunities to gain fundamental and practical experiences across a broad range of research areas at the intersection of structural engineering and materials science.
